When you post a job on Taskbear, you’ll receive several quotes from verified local Taskers. Here’s how to review, compare, and select the right one safely and confidently:
Take the time to review each quote carefully. Compare the message, price, and availability offered by each Tasker. A genuine quote typically includes a clear message, realistic pricing, and flexible timing.
Before accepting any quote, constantly review the Tasker’s profile:
Completion rate: shows how many tasks they have successfully finished.
Reviews & ratings: read feedback from previous clients.
Verifications: look for ID verification badges and completed safety checks.
Insurance & qualifications: Some jobs (like electrical or plumbing) require licences or insurance; check for these before hiring.
Taskbear provides a dedicated discussion area for each quote:
Quote discussions are public within your job, meaning any Tasker who has submitted a quote can see the conversation.
You can only chat with Taskers who have submitted a quote.
This discussion happens before you accept any quote and is designed to clarify details, ask questions, or request changes.
Once you accept a quote:
A private 1-on-1 chat between you and the selected Tasker becomes available.
Other Taskers can no longer see the conversation.
You can now safely coordinate job details and timing privately within Taskbear.
Once you’re satisfied, select your preferred quote and proceed with payment.
You’ll pay the quote amount plus the platform connection fee securely through Taskbear Pay (Stripe).
Taskbear will hold the funds safely in escrow until the Tasker completes the job and you approve the release.
After your task is done, review the work and release payment to your Tasker.
This ensures a trusted and transparent process for both Posters and Taskers.
